Gender Differences

Actually my childhood event and memory was fun at the same time I was learning the difference between a boy and a girl. When I was a little girl, like around age seven or eight, I started playing with Barbie dolls. I first started off playing with the actual Barbie herself, then for Christmas each year, I got something different about Barbie. One year my mom and dad brought me a Ken doll, now at this time I had already knew what the private parts of a women was because I was curious to know when I got my first Barbie, and that’s when my mom told me. But when my mom brought Ken, I was confused, so she explained to me, using the Barbie dolls, what the difference was between a boy and a girl. Now I know that girls have more to go through then boys do.

The Future

The introduction in this chapter is right (chapter ten), what does the future hold, how ill the technology affects us humans, and how would it destroy or build ideal societies. “On Time Travel”, would be scary, but it would become an experimental science. But I think it would be certainly a world worth exploring. In my own opinion I think that technology could become more difficult to learn, because some of the technology now a day can be complicated. I believe cars, could possibly be flying, because now they already have cars running off of electricity, which I think is a good idea, but at the same time it could be dangerous. I think our future holds a lot, some may affect us, and some may not.

Evnironment Awareness

Environment Awareness is crucial at this point in history. Therefore becoming aware of the reality is important and vital to our survival. The greenhouse effect can cause many changes in our climate such as, the Earth’s polar caps melting and thus increase the ocean level, and subsequently flooding the nearby coastal cities or low lying regions. Although, a large quantity of carbon dioxide will greatly benefit some plants, the effects on the lives of people does not compensate to the positive effects. Caring about our environment does not make a person become an environment activist; it just makes a person know more about their environment.

Trusting the Mind

Your mind is simply a tool that can be used to function as a human being. It can help make decisions, add and subtract, read and write, speak to one another, etc. but it cannot be trusted for much more than the everyday functions. Our mind is a great collector of junk. It collects junk in the form of memories of the past (good or bad). If you have a bad memory, then it keeps you wondering what happen. Our mind hates the NOW. It wants to live in the future and in the past. If you have a “good memory”, you end up longing for the moment when you can feel that way again. Our mind has a close friend that it runs off and gets in trouble with every day, it’s called our “Ego”.
